WE ENJOY PARTYING - FOR A GOOD CAUSE!

Hit songs party, beach volleyball competition & summer night party 2023

released at:

Every year on the first week-end of July, the club “Weeser Sport e.V.” organizes its traditional summer night party, including beach volleyball competitions and a hit songs party. The club donates the proceeds to non-profit organizations. Thus, the motto in 2023 was again “celebrating, digging & belting out” for a good cause.

The starting signal was given by the hit songs party which traditionally takes place on Friday. As usual, one of the participant’s was “KlangWerk” - the inclusive workshop band of the Bersenbrück non-profit workshops (HpH). Seven musicians - men and women - with or without disability, play music together - from hit songs to rock and pop, from the fifties to date. What they share is their passion for good live music and their love to hit songs. Be it with or without disability, be it to music from the DJ or from the band, everybody partied and danced friskily.

“No starts available any more”, this was announced early June already on the Weeser Sport Facebook and Instagram accounts. Despite rainy weather, 40 teams, including the bema gang, competed for a place on the winners’ rostrum of the beach volleyball competition of this year, starting on Saturday at noon. At the end, the winner was the “Cabana” team who finished first. With its 17th summer night party, the non-profit weekend came to a cheerful end on two music areas.

The organizer “Weeser Sport e.V.” thanked bema and the Hülsmann family for having provided the hall and the outdoor surfaces as well as the three beach volleyball pitches.

In return, we from bema would like to thank Weeser Sport. These some 70 members invest much time and commit themselves very strongly in organizing and realizing these events. Everybody rolls up his/her sleeves and does it for a good cause. After all, almost half of the proceeds is donated to the Bersenbrück HpH. The remaining half is contributed to clubs from the village.
